Los Angeles County Museum of Art Docent Council
 |
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art relies on its Docent Council to conduct hundreds of
tours every year. The Docent Council Web Site handles Docent selection and tour chair assignment
of upcoming tours, as well as reporting and statistics on historical assignments. Docent records
are managed through a search-able, filter-able, on-line roster. |
Cornell University Employment and Disability Institute
 |
The Employment and Disability Institute is home to several State- and Federally- funded initiatives
in the Disability Employment arena, and has both complex and diverse reporting requirements to its sponsors.
We designed a modular Technical Assistance tracking system to make possible cross-project, division-wide reporintg
for individual project sponsors, the University, and grant proposals. We also streamlined and renovated
a contact management database, created a repository for event and participant tracking by Stakeholder, and
implemented a publication dissemination tracking system. |
American Youth Soccer Organization (Region 76 / Beverly Hills)
 |
Over the last several years, the Beverly Hills region of the American Youth Soccer Organization has moved almost all of their organizational functions to a database-driven web application. In addition to designing an entirely new look for their public site (CSS-driven and printer-friendly), we worked with AYSO to create an over-arching system to handle player registration, team assignments, roster print-outs, medical releases, and tournament registrations. More recently, we built a SQL-driven infrastructure for scheduling 100+ teams across a dozen player divisions. In addition to managing inter-regional competitions (a system now used by AYSO throughout the Los Angeles area), we also designed a referee assignment and tracking application that allows teams that provide their own referees to receive credit towards tournament eligibility. |
American Youth Soccer Organization (West Side Soccer League - New York)
 |
After the success of the AYSO-Online Web Application in Beverly Hills, the West Side Soccer League of New York City wanted to put many of the same functions on-line as their counterparts had in California. Adapating both the player registration and on-line administration tools to the (in some cases) very different needs of the Manhattan-based soccer league, we launched wssl.org in April of 2006. |
